How you can help

Autumn Lanes Bowling Alley has set up a donation box for dog and cat food.
There are so many in need of help feeding their pets.
If you can help please drop your donation off at Autumn Lanes in Forest City.

RCHS is an all-volunteer effort. We have no paid staff, and every dollar we take in goes directly to helping the animals! This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and all other medical needs.

We also provide pet food to individuals in need so that they can continue to feed their pets. With funds at an all-time low, many of us who work with the RCHS pay for some of these services out of our own pockets.

Nor are we associated with the national organization Humane Society of the United States. We are also independent from the local animal shelter and Community Pet Center, although we do work with these and other groups to help Rutherford County animals. In short, RCHS depends entirely on donations
from our local contributors. On behalf of the animals, we are grateful for any donation you can make, or time you can spend as an RCHS volunteer. Please help us continue to help the animals.

You can make a donation in memory of a person or pet. In addition, a donation can be made in someone else's name as a gift (Christmas, Birthday, etc.)

Other ways that you can help is by assisting at our fundraising events. Also, please get the word out to others about the Rutherford County Humane Society. You could also help by becoming a foster parent - providing a home for these pets until we can get them adopted.

We also appreciate donations of pet food and supplies.
